Just when Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24th, 2022, people
across the globe started uniting and trying to understand how they can be helpful in Ukraine’s
fight against the aggressor. When Dima Grama (29) found out that the war broke out in his
homeland, he quickly turned to his computer, created the website, and got in touch with local
Ukrainian designers. With the help of his Ukrainian friend Anya Melnychuk (28), who previously
was involved in many charitable organizations in Ukraine, the launch of weukraine.com
happened.

“We Ukraine” allows anybody in the world to make a donation by purchasing a t-shirt. Such a
simple concept allows people to have something, like a good quality cotton t-shirt, to wear and
show their support of Ukraine on a daily basis. It also puts their mind at ease when they think about
trustworthy charity organizations to donate their money to.
